This illustration was created as a birthday present for a good friend, whose favourite cocktail is the classic Negroni. The Negroni is made of equal parts gin, campari, and sweet vermouth, garnished with an orange peel or wedge, and is considered an apértif. The flavour profile is quite striking in it’s bitterness, with lighter sweet notes to bring this drink together in a sophisticated fashion. The illustrated type reflects the character of the drink: poised and capable of holding its own.
